    Hi –

Hoping you can tell me how difficult this would be/possibly lead me in the right direction. I know a bit of php and js – so hopefully I can do this myself:

I’m looking to somehow on the search results show results in a radius of the location searched. That way, for example, if someone searches by zip code they can see only properties in a certain mile radius from that location. That way if there isn’t an exact zip match they can still see what’s around.

    Thanks!
    Kelli

    Hi Kelli,

    This one is difficult.

My colleagues will try to research and see how they can guide you. They’ll post here in the next days.

    Thanks
    Anna

    Hello,
WHat you want to do is not simple . You can start by reading this
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18512184/google-maps-finding-all-the-markers-inside-a-given-radius-javascript-php

    YOu should
    – get the center
    – for each marker check if is inside the “circle” using the algo presented in the link above

    Good luck

Has anyone been able to solve this?

    Hi Chris,

This could be the kind of feature which we would like to add to core in the future. For clients who wish to have items we wish to have as well, we have a special custom work deal. If you wish to know more about such an offer, please open a ticket here – http://support.wpestate.org/

    Thank you,
    Anna
