After a user clicks “Search Properties” from the advanced search hover map, they are taken to their search results. But, their field values are then empty. How can these be saved? Currently it’s very inconvenient for users so far to want to tweak their search for better results but have to type all the fields in again. Since this is loading a new page, couldn’t these be stored as PHP SESSION values?

    Hi Blue,

Thank you for your suggestion. This would be a hard change.
With AJAX search on map people can change easily the search parameters and see results in page.

    Thank you,

It’s true that it works great dynamically. It’s only when people push the “Search” box on the right that users have expressed it’s a little inconvenient to have to fill in the 8 boxes again.

Could you tell me what files are responsible for the form’s template and functionality? I don’t mind getting my hands dirty with php and javascript.

You need to intercept the POST variables and then fill the input text value. If they are for dropdowns you
check inside dropdown creation and when equal add the select tag.
