    Hi,

I have version 1.092 and I have followed the instructions to create a property page with the Recent Items shortcode (using Visual Composer), but no properties are shown. If I leave categories IDs not specified, the “successful login” box is shown. If I select one or more categories, nothing is shown.

The basic shortcode I am using is
    [recent_items title=”test random” number=”4″ rownumber=”4″ random_pick=”no”]

The test page that is not working is http://www.italianialondra.com/houses-flats-rooms/test-random/

Any idea why this is not working?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi iuse,

    Thank you for your comment.
This issue was fixed on the last theme version 1.11.1 so you must update the theme to fix this issue.

Theme shortcodes no longer work with the latest version of Visual Composer because those from Visual Composer changed the code without any explanation.

Our shortcodes work just fine without Visual Composer installed.

We asked them to follow up and solve this asap – but they didn’t. They said they decided to change their code without any viable explanation and now we have to deal with it.

Now we have to changed our shortcodes to work with Visual Composer and this is the reason for what you must update the theme.

    Dear Camelia,

Thanks a lot for your answer. I installed ver 1.11.1 and it does work.

However, is there any way I can get the search header I get on this page
    http://www.italianialondra.com/houses-flats-rooms/
(the one saying “All Actions, All types, All Cities, etc…)

in a page created with a recent_items shortcode? I have tried the advanced search shortcode and it doesn’t work, see here
    http://www.italianialondra.com/houses-flats-rooms/test-random/

Is there any way I can get random ordering of the property listings on a page created with the Property List template?

    Regards

    G
