    Hi again

I wonder how to create a link to view All apartments in Barcelona

    Something like

    http://wpestatetheme.org/property_category/apartments/property_city/new-york/

    Thanks!

    Hi Sargantana,

The link is already created when you add a new category (city, area, type or category).

You can find that link by following these instructions:

    Go to Properties – City

    http://help.wpestatetheme.org/assets/images/customtaxonomy.png

Hover with the mouse over the City Category and click VIEW button

You can do the same for the other categories i listed above.

    Thank you

I would like to know how to build a link with city and category together, i.e. Appartments in Barcelona.

    Hi Sargantana

You can use the Recent Items shortcode for that. Ex:

    [container_content title=”Recent Articles” border=””][recent_items type=”properties” category_ids=”5″ action_ids=”2″ city_ids=”131″ area_ids=”” number=”2″ rows=”1″ link=”http://wpestatetheme.org/properties-list/”][/recent_items]
    [/container_content]

You can install HH columns plugin to see the IDs easier.

    Thank you
    Anna

    Hi Anna

I put this in a new Page

    [recent_items type=”properties” category_ids=”5″ action_ids=”2″ city_ids=”131″ area_ids=”” number=”2″ rows=”1″ link=”http://wpestatetheme.org/properties-list/”][/recent_items]

    and works fine.

I would like also to see these properties in the map, but map shows properties of every category.

    Using WP-Residence 1.03

    Hi Sargantana,

The Recent Items shortcode is not connected to the Maps filter.

Only in Advanced Search, Taxonomy Pages, Agent Profile – the map shows the properties on that page by default. There is not custom development to develop your wish, as the map can’t filter properties based on shortcodes.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you

I also tried to use a page with template “Properties list”, selecting one category and one city: the list shows properties from the category and city selected, but the map shows properties from every category.

    Hi Sargantana,

    That is also correct.

The only pages that filter properties in map are Advanced Search – http://wpresidence.net/advanced-search/ and Taxonomy Pages – http://wpresidence.net/city/jersey-city/

We haven’t made the Properties List map be different than the rest of the maps for internal pages. Technically, it’s a challenge and results can’t be guaranteed.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you
    Anna
