    For the Contact Form, I’ll explain below all possible scenarios.

    a. Contact Page template
    The email is set in Theme Options – Social & Contact

    b. Agent contact form –
    The email is set in Agent Profile

    c. User Contact Form –
    The email is set in User Profile

    If for option c, Admin chooses to make users agents automatically, then the email is also set from User Profile and from wp-admin, edit agent profile.


    This has been thoroughly tested on the core and demo, and the functionality works. If contact form doesn’t work, there can be 2 reasons:

    1. Email set-up done incorrectly (you can test by adding an email like gmail to see if this one works). If it does work with gmail, you’ll need to verifiy the email settings.

    2. Server set-up needs to be modified for emails to be sent (you can test by going to wp-admin – click on recover admin password and see if you get any email from WordPress.

    If WordPress doesn’t send you any emails, you need to check Server Settings. I did this investigation for a client and the solution provided in this Forum thread helped him.
    “Your host is probably blocking the normal php mail function. Therefore you can to configure such that WordPress sends out e-mail through SMTP.”
