    Hi Anna,

    Just purchased the theme 😉

    But will like to change the default color/style of the google maps, I’ve seen many others doing this right now, and want to take one step forward.

    There are many examples on this website http://snazzymaps.com and will like to use for the following style http://snazzymaps.com/style/8/turquoise-water.

    Can you please advice how to add the following style to the theme map?

    Best..
    Alon

    ANSWER:

    hello,
    There are some google map files in js/google_js. folder . You need to edit those and

    when you have

    var mapOptions = {
    flat:false,
    noClear:false,
    zoom: parseInt(googlecode_home_vars.page_custom_zoom),
    scrollwheel: false,
    draggable: true,
    center: new google.maps.LatLng( googlecode_home_vars.general_latitude, googlecode_home_vars.general_longitude),
    mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP,
    streetViewControl:false
    };

    you need to add a the end the styles

    somehting like

      mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP,

                 streetViewControl:false,

    styles: [

        {

            "stylers": [

                {

                    "hue": "#16a085"

                },

                {

                    "saturation": 0

                }

            ]

        },

        {

            "featureType": "road",

            "elementType": "geometry",

            "stylers": [

                {

                    "lightness": 100

                },

                {

                    "visibility": "simplified"

                }

            ]

        },

        {

            "featureType": "road",

            "elementType": "labels",

            "stylers": [

                {

                    "visibility": "off"

                }

            ]

        }

    ]

               };

    Hi Alon,

    I’m so sorry. I posted a message yesterday and I see it was not saved.

    In my message I was telling you that I forwarded your question to the development team and they will reply as soon as they review the link you sent to them. Can be today or tomorrow, as soon as they can.

    It’s work in progress.

    Thank you
    Anna
