WP Residence How to Manage Footer, Mobile and Header Menus

The theme includes 3 menu area: Footer, Primary Menu (shows in the header area and supports Mega Menu), and Mobile Menu.

Menus are managed, created, edited and deleted from admin WordPress – Appearance- Menus. There are specific items you can add to the menus: Custom Links, Post, Pages, Agents, Properties, Custom categories. For each menu item, you can add your own title or a FontAwesome icon. The theme works with sub-menu items which you can show up to 3 levels.

Primary menu

The Primary menu area is by far the most versatile menu of all. The design variations include over 6 hover models, the menu can be set horizontally or vertically, and many other options available. In the theme presentation, you can see all the menu design options in more detail – https://wpestate.org/wpresidence-theme-presentation/

The menu content is managed from the Admin area. Watch this short video to understand how easy it is to create a navigation menu.

For Primary Menu you can choose to enable Mega Menu, and show sub-menu items on 3 or 4 columns. Mega Menu supports also widgets (you can add text widgets with images and links) or you can add icons (such as icons from Font Awesome). You can design Mega Menu with a custom background color, or a background image.

Footer Menu

Footer menu shows on the same line as Copyright message but on the right side of the screen. We recommend keeping Footer menu short (2,3 or 4 menu items) so that the information you display is visible and easy to access.

You can add/edit the Copyright text message from Theme Options – Appearance.

Please watch the video tutorial for all the details.

Mobile Menu

The mobile menu can be the same as Primary Menu, or you can create a different version.

All menus colors are managed from Theme Options – Design Settings.
